    July 30, 2020

    Dear Church Family:

    It is a good thing that the Church is not a building. The Bible tells us how important it is to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1), and we all look forward to returning to church again as soon as we are able to do so safely. But while we have not been able to gather in-person, God has enabled and equipped us to gather together as a virtual Church in love and service for one another and our community. We are all looking forward to the day when we once again gather in person as a large group, but that time is not now. Our church will remain in Phase One of the District of Columbia’s reopening plan for now.  (more…)

    Greetings in the name of Christ Our Lord and Savior! These are unparalleled times as we are experiencing a worldwide pandemic. In unstable times, we draw upon the wellsprings of our faith. As the great lawgiver, Moses, states: “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord, your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
