Communications Ministry

The mission of the Communications Ministry is to improve communications within and about the church to all audiences. The ministry manages the church’s communication tools and assists other ministries with their communication needs.

We oversee church branding, messaging, graphics, social media, website, newsletter, twice-monthly eblasts, mass communications, digital sign, and church-wide publications. The ministry develops the standards and processes for all communications media to ensure there is a holistic, coordinated approach throughout the church. In addition, we work closely with the Media Ministry to promote the content and reach of the church’s YouTube channel and livestreaming broadcasts.

Originally approved by the deacons in 2013, the ministry was reactivated by Pastor Darryl Roberts in July 2018, giving it a renewed and broadened mission.

The Communications Ministry seeks volunteers with diverse talents, including marketing, writing, editing, graphic design, social media, content development, production, creativity, and humor to help with the church’s wide range of communications projects.
